Would you like to showcase your own songs at a Festival?
Read the details below and see Mr Cain on how to apply.
Time has come to secure your place on this year’s Young Composers Stage at the Tower of London. Students have the chance to debut their own compositions to the public and perform in front of the iconic background of 1000 years of history.
The performance piece must be of their own work under these guidelines;
• All compositions must be aligned to the theme of either; Fortress, Palace or Prison
• Length of compositions should be around 3-5 mins long as a guideline
• Use of technology is welcomed, although all compositions must contain an element of live performance so that they can be debuted at the Tower of London
• Solo and ensemble pieces are accepted
FORMS MUST BE RETURNED BY THE END OF FRIDAY 30th MARCH 2018. This can be collected from Mr Cain in M107.
This is not a competition, but a chance to showcase emerging talent and provide a platform for our young composers to be celebrated alongside this year’s music festival.
