Covid 19 update
Whilst we wait for our return to school, we have put together a range of tasks which you can access here. These tasks have been created to encourage independent learning and creating music where possible.
If you need any further help or assistance or would like to share work with us, please contact Mr Cain.
We enjoy making and performing music at Eastbury, which is something we actively encourage from the start of the year.
The curriculum has been created to give pupils a good foundation in understanding the key elements of music through practical exploration of different areas of study. Each area of study builds from previous skills that have been learnt, with a focus on pupils exploring music through practical exploration.
Assessment of pupils is carried out holistically through a mixture of performing, composing, responses from questions and their general attitude towards learning. This helps us to identify pupils progress in music and also gives them the opportunity to explore sound through expression and creation.
